Look at that delightful lettuce! These leafies were the first produce from our new raised veggie bed to become lunch. And what a tasty salad it was. Still growing: peas, spinach, tomatoes, basil, and one lonesome carrot (sadly, his brothers and sisters didn't survive the squirrel attack). The anticipation makes my belly rumble.
