Sultry afternoon

People in Missouri complain about the humidity in the same way that people in Portland complain about the rain, as though they secretly enjoy it. Or perhaps they simply enjoy having weather to complain about. Whatever the case, I personally find the humidity in Kansas City comforting. So here's me sitting on the back porch with a glass of iced tea, barefoot and sticky, lazing in the heavy midwestern air.
