Prison bound

Years ago I used to love the old trivia question: If a fire truck, a police car, an ambulance and a mail truck, all in a hurry, get to a four-way stop at exacty the same moment, who would have the right-of-way? The answer, of course, is the mail truck, because it is federally employed, where the others are city and state employed.

This lesson came to my mind today when I arrived at a stop sign simultaneously with a mail truck. Although he was waving me on, I felt a creeping paranoia that the feds were going to get me if I went first.
