Hide and Seek theorem

While playing Hide-and-Seek throughout my formative years, I would always go for the most difficult hiding places. Backs of closets, behind the clothes and inside the boxes. Top shelf of the attic, under whatever storaged items are handy. In the depths of the hide-a-bed and covered with cushions. Although this can promote winning, is not actually as much fun. Sometimes you can be stuck there for what seems like hours, because no one can find you.

Instead, my new philosophy is that the best hiding place is the one where you can be spotted, given the right angle, and preferably where you can see your pursuer, but are not found. This tactic adds risk and necessitates caution, ultimately heightening the overall Hide-and-Seek experience for yourself and others.

my strategy is just to get drunk and find you!
