Maturity shift

It is usually easier to have my parents enter into my element, rather than me trying to be in theirs. Whenever I go back home, I tend to revert to the niche of childish understandings and feelings. They certainly dote on me wherever we are together, but on my territory there's an expectation that I am in charge, and that helps me fall more naturally into being an adult. However, relating laterally with my parents can be a bit unsettling.
