Spent the afternoon hiking around
Mount Tabor, an extinct volcano near my house. I took a trail map with me, which proved to be an over-zealous maneuver, as all trails on this particular mount lead only to the mountaintop. There's no where to go but up. My first hike was direct, an undisguised attempt to reach the summit. It took about fifteen minutes. So I climbed down and back up again, this time trying my hardest to follow the shady paths in the most deviating fashion possible. And when I'd had enough, I leaned against a big douglas fir and finished (at last!)
Uncle Tom's Cabin.

I've just been thinking about spending more time on Tabor. However, I spent the afternoon at the mall, eeeewww.
Yay, finally!
