Overcast

Cloudy-mooded today and weather outside to compliment. Conversations flying around about the future and all I want is to kick around in the present for a while. My soul's not ready for decision-making and finalizing. Who says we have to know what's to come anyway, and why do we care so much? To be protective maybe, controlling, as if all that would somehow soften the blow of future pains.

Sometimes the best way to plan for the future is to stop and get to know the present you a little better.

talk about glass-half-empty.

sometimes knowing the future is just about looking forward to things, too!

This has to be one of your best blogs ever. I don't know why... but it just hits. I always try to think of the future, but seriosuly... the present is much mroe important. The present is needed to create the future... so it's only "common-sensical" to act on the now rather than the "to be."
