Insurance debacle

I find the system of insurance in this country to be not only maddening, but also a complete disaster. Consider car insurance: month by month you faithfully pay your fees, but the moment a fender bender causes you to tap into what should now be yours to use, your premiums skyrocket.

We could consider ourselves lucky that it's not the same for health insurance, but we would only be kidding ourselves. The health gumbas are even slimier, driving the cost of having it higher and higher, but paying less and less to doctors, who in turn raise their prices for which the leftover bills come to: you.

I say we scrap the whole thing and go back to paying with chickens.
