It was an improvised Thanksgiving for me and my American classmates. Canned pumpkin is hard to come by over here, and there was a bit of a turkey shortage just in time for the holiday. So we had a chicken instead and banana bread and chocolate cake instead of pumpkin pie. There were classes all day on Thursday, so we celebrated on Friday. It was nothing fancy you know, but I think we certainly captured the spirit. We laughed a lot and we stuffed ourselves. That's what it's about right?
