Entry exam

Filling out a job application is somewhat akin to taking a test. It is a high-pressure situation and a stream of mundane information that's easy to overlook. Here's me, moments before my interview still working on questions one and two: 1) Name. That's an easy one. A- N- D- E- A. Dang! Forgot the R. Okay, work it in there like it's been there all along. That looks pretty good. C- A- V- E- R. Whew that was a close one. What would they would think if my name was misspelled? 2) Date. Today's date? Let's see, Sunday was the 16th. Or was it the 17th? No, last Tuesday was the 12th, right? I know May 7th is on a Saturday. Yeah, because May 8th is Mother's Day. I can't forget about that. Oh! Tax day was last Friday! So, if today is Wednesday... or is it Tuesday?
