Look, a puppy...

Today I saw a screaming man and woman throw their bodies into the path of an oncoming van in response to a tiny puppy running across the street. They were trying to: a) Catch the dog before he got hit. b) Be a bigger source of distraction to make the van stop. c) Kill themselves.
