La pâtisserie délicieuse

To finish off a pleasant weekend, Ryan and I went to Pix Pâtisserie late last night. I'm not sure that I've ever been able to use the term delectable with a straight face before now. We had the Amelie (orange vanilla crème brulée atop a glazed chocolate mousse with caramelized hazelnuts, praline crisp, and Cointreau genoise) and were transported to Montmartre as though in a dream. If you are a relatively sheltered American like myself, I highly recommend the gastronomical delight of a true French dessert at least once in your lifetime, it is inimitable.
