Andi's law of unpacking

Granted, I am needlessly dysfunctional when things are not in order around the house. Disarray clouds my vision, it's a weakness. Yet, there is still this theory I have that applies even to those who are not as obsessive and compulsive as myself and it goes like this.

Each week that you do not unload boxes after moving into a new home decreases the amount of time you will have to do so two-fold. Why? Because for each week that goes by you've been living in those rooms and have made a bigger mess. Now you have a discrepancy between working on the boxes or doing the dishes. Working on the boxes or scrubbing the toilet.
