Holiday

A mixed bag this weekend, house-warmings and reclusive reading, a bit of shopping and some yard work. My favorite was hiking with Rachel up to Council Crest Park, the supposed highest point in Portland. This spot used to be so many interesting things, a meeting place for Native Americans, an amusement park and a small zoo, the city's second largest garbage dump. Now there's, um, an off-leash dog area. Good hiking though, and a nice view.
