The riddle

Forgive me for being enigmatic. Things are just bit cloudy lately, and there's rain on the horizon and although I'm waiting with my umbrella, I'm not exactly sure what will happen to me in the end. On the one hand there's this and on the other hand there's that, and there's five more hands on the sidelines, but they're all pretty much the same thing anyway. So I look left and I look right and wonder where I'll be when the nighttime falls, and that's pretty much all you can do. Wonder.
