Yes, unfortunately I am up early enough to see the sun at this height. The photo was taken on my drive to Hood River, with Wilco on the stereo and the coffee-in-the-car smell making me feel good.

And this one taken on the way home, when the sky had a fight with the clouds and they decided to split in two for a while. They have since made up and apologize for any disruptions they may have caused. You know, traffic accidents from people who shoot pictures while driving.

I'm so jeolous, Wilco was ours and then he moved away cos we r so small :O( -if I'm thinking of the same Wilco he used to work on the radio in Alice Springs, S'pose there could be lots of Wilcos out there though so I'm probably wrong.

beautiful images.... and the message of the second one was insightful. i am glad the sky and clouds made up..... even though they are quite different , have different needs and clash at times, they belong together.
