Avoid the Noid

Whatever happened to Noid the Droid, the Domino's Pizza marketing legacy from the mid-80's? I remember that for some reason my parents were opposed to having Domino's, but as a grade-schooler, I was highly influenced by the Noid, and complained often about having to eat at Pizza Hut. Ryan remembers the Noid only for his video game.
